All three products are Client/Server solutions for pooling modems connected to a PC to other PC's over a Windows network. MPNT is a legacy product that we will continue to support though December 2007. Free upgrades are available to NetModem. MPNT requires that the Server portion of the Modem Pooling software is installed on a Server version of Windows (NT4, 2000, or 2003). NetModem and ModemServe do not require a server version of Windows to operate.

The NetDialOut (Modem Pooling for Access Servers), is not included in the comparision, because it can only use the features present on an access server.
The MPTS product (Modem Pooling for Terminal Services), is not included in the comparison, because it is specific to a Terminal Server or Citrix Metaframe environment.
